Play Synopsis:

"All revolutions begin on a stage," is a line from “Love me, Fuselii,” and this play demonstrates how that is so. But the main objective of the play is to humanize Mary Wollstonecraft -- to let her speak for herself without any "ism" attachments and dramatize how her undaunted pursuit of happiness and justice transformed her into our pathfinder as well.

Set in 1791 this two-act play is fact-based and explores the inter-influencing of Mary with William Blake, and his wife Cate, Henry Fuseli, and his wife Sophia, Thomas Paine, William Godwin and Joseph Johnson, their least known though most important mutual benefactor-publisher. It more fundamentally explores the gender expanding themes of the competing love triangles of Wollstonecraft, Fuseli and Johnson.
